Field Service Engineer

Seeking a highly skilled, hard-working and well-versed Field Service Engineer.  Ability to read drawings and review design work is required.  Successful candidate is skilled in both Computer and Electrical Engineering.

Position requires travel in the continental US and occasionally abroad.   Position is based in the Orlando, FL. area.

RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

• Designing, inspecting, testing, and updating electronic systems, components, equipment, and software.

• Liaising with engineers, other professionals, as well as clients to ensure quality projects are completed to specifications.

• Ensuring all equipment and products meet health and safety regulations.

• Verify and deploy programs and systems.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software and hardware systems.

• Showing initiative and keeping up with advancements in Technology.

• Monitoring processes, systems, and staff, and punctually identifying problems.

• Establishing relationships with staff, vendors, suppliers, and other professionals in the field.

• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar.

• Experience in engineering design and design software recommended.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills.

• Excellent research and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Willingness to work overtime if required.

• Carry 50lbs. and work from heights.

• Travel both domestically and internationally, up to 25% of the year.
